Save Energy Group of Poole teams with Solar Frontier
Three installations serve as models for the market
Save Energy Group has expanded its solar PV portfolio with the introduction of CIS thin film panels by market leader Solar Frontier. This step is marked by the completion of the first three commercial projects using Solar Frontier’s all-black panels, totalling almost 90kWp, installed in February and March 2012. The three projects are a 41.4kWp system comprising 276 Solar Frontier 150W panels on a barn roof in Dorset and a 13.92kWp system on a farm at the Dorset/Somerset borders, both of which have been commissioned in February 2012, and a 33.6kWp roof-top installation on another barn in Dorset to be completed by mid of March.
Working directly with Solar Frontier, as distributor and installer, Save Energy is committed to bringing leading-edge technology and better value to its commercial and domestic – clients by providing highly efficient solutions at a competitive price. “We are pleased to be a key partner for Solar Frontier and to facilitate the introduction of their CIS thin film technology in the UK” says Wolf Dietrich, Commercial Sales Manager at Save Energy Group. “Solar Frontier’s CIS thin film technology provides a number of benefits for our customers, including better value, great returns even under reduced feed-in tariffs, and more flexible installation options.
